Wheel drives

Finally enjoy driving pleasure for driverless transport systems and AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles)

Unfortunately our wheel drives don’t have the pleasure of spreading joy to a human driver because…
Correct! They are used in driverless transport systems (DTS) or “Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs)” or shuttles.
And our drives achieve up to 10 m/s (36 km/h), carry several tons or get 1,000 watts out of 4 kg construction weight.
And yes, most recently this also now includes a steerable wheel hub drive, and unprecedented route planning and driving performance.

AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle), DTS (Driverless Transport System) and forklift vehicle

AGV or DTS? Call it what you want, but the truth is that in this increasingly broad category of vehicles, only one thing matters - a drive that allows maximum power density in the most compact design.
And the real challenge is how it handles at extremely slow speeds (e.g. on assembly line work). This is where the matching of the motor to the drive control system is vitally important.
