INTEGRATION IMPAIRED PEOPLE

People with impairments face particular challenges, especially in the labor market. MTA offers opportunities and possibilities.

In close cooperation between MTA GmbH, ÖZIV Arbeitsassistenz, AMS Amstetten and Lebenshilfe Werkstätte Haag, the successful integration of an employee with impairments has been achieved in recent months. This employee has had a disability since birth and until then was accommodated in the Lebenshilfe Werkstätte Haag.

He had never been active in the labor market before, but had felt underchallenged in the workshop for some time and was striving for more! At the job interview, he was promised a work trial by authorized signatory Martin Kirchstetter. During several months of work training, closely accompanied by ÖZIV Arbeitsassistenz and Lebenshilfe Werkstätte Haag, he was able to prove his work performance, his manual skills and his motivation.

He was warmly welcomed by the entire staff and soon became an indispensable member of the team. Due to his good integration, he was offered a full-time position in the areas of production, warehouse and shipping as of January 2022, which he accepted with great pleasure.

This laid the foundation for a new and independent phase in the life of this employee, in which he can prove himself and develop further.
